Custom Scope Rails

I needed to raise my sight line and wanted a scope rail that would accomplish that. I've seen several requests for scope rails on this site and thought I would share a great source and person to work with. After some experimenting I determined what I needed and contacted Howard Pitts. He kindly offered to build them (I got 2). I sent him my current scope rail to use for measurements and required relief, and he returned two absolutely perfect fit scope rails to me, exactly as requested. I love and appreciate things that fit perfectly. I am going to try and attach some pictures. As seen, I needed the scope rail long enough to give me eye relief for my scope, and have clearance for the for the barrel block. It's an EC stock by the way.
Great job Howard, thanks!

That would make more sense than my suggestion. For the non-US members is Pabst not very good?

I never liked it but it was cheap if I remember correctly. I went for Miller Light, they had the best commercials!

Shiner? I quit on that years ago.

Thirsty Goat for awhile, then they closed up. And then reopened. Still have a 6 pack of bottles from the original. Plan is to compare with the new stuff at some point. Brewer across town SURELY has better taste buds than me. His Ghost Pepper Porter is interesting.

I'm currently 'using' 512 Amber, and switch off to Lagunitas Maximus IPA for variety. And the occasional barrel aged for fun.

Amazing the variety HEB has.

Sorry ... when I make rails for my rifles I put elevation in them. Generally 20' for smallbore, and 30' for CF.
