Shooting an "old" Anschutzv Super Match 54

Post by Keith Tiedke »

Hello, I just joined this forum, and thanks for letting me participate. I have a Anschutz Model 54 Super Match (S/N 22969). I am trying to find a Picatinny rail (65 mm) that will go on the rear portion of the rifle behind the ejection port.

The next challenge is find a suitable scope and ring mounts that will fit onto tjhe 65 mm rail.

Thanks for the opportunity to ask questions !

V/R

Rather than the rearsight dovetail, where eye relief could be tricky, would this work: https://egwguns.com/winchester-52-picat ... -undrilled ? Your 22xxx Match 54 was made in the early 1960s so the barrel would be drilled and tapped for 'scope blocks.
