Are you allowed to use a thin leather glove for free pistol? I have a TOZ 35M with a Rink grip that fits OK but rather quickly starts to hurt the knuckle on my right index finger against the inside of the grip. I was thinking something like a golf glove or a batting glove with the end of the trigger finger cut away might help. I can't find anything in the rules but it may be in plain sight or there may be a good reason not to do that. That part of my hand was badly shattered some years ago and had to be pinned back together. I was a music teacher in those days and played violin and viola. It healed and does not present any particular problem to holding my violin or viola bow. Probably a lighter pistol would help but that's another story.

Thanks

I know you aren't allowed to have anything that covers the wrist joint.

The normal approach is to carve up the grip. Go slow. A tiny change can make a big difference.
