Rink Grip Steep

Hello!

I am purchasing a Rink grip for my Pardini K12. I believe I have the sizing sorted but there is a "steep" option. I looked on the forum and saw that there is some mention of this option but it is still a little unclear to me. Is this option to decrease the rake angle (to make it closer to a 1911 for example) or vice versa and make it more of a rake angle. I like less of a rake angle on my slow fire guns so I am curious if this would help.

Does anyone have any comparison pictures between the Pardini grip, Rink grip and Rink grip steep? It is hard to compare pictures separately.

Cheers,

Ted

I wasn't familiar with the "steep" option, so I went to look. If you toggle back & forth between the two sets of photos, and pay particular attention to the angle of the top in the right hand photos, "steep" appears to be more vertical (the top is closer to horizontal) like you want.

You can send them an email to double check. They are very responsive.

Thank you,

I didn't notice that at first, eyes aren't what they used to be!

Placed an order. Now on the 8 week wait, fingers crossed they get here sooner!

Rink sometimes call it the "USA" option. The grip is more vertical, less raked. It's especially noticeable on the Pardini, which comes with an angle that requires tilting the wrist to the point of locking, and which the Rink "steep" grip makes much less painful.

Good luck with that. Must have purchased about 25 Rink grips over the past 8 years.
Only ever been a day early to leave Rink.

Always been worth the wait, apart from the time I accidentally ordered a Morini 162ei short grip. When I wanted a standard.
