Great story Rover. That soldier knew how to fight, William used everything he could find. I think a beer bottle alongside the head got their attention quickly. Too bad he didn't have some gasoline to put in them.
When I was very young the neighborhood bullies had bb rifles and would shoot at me, and my father would not let me get a bb gun. So after getting hit in the legs, upper body, and my back, I got them to leave me alone by throwing rocks at them. I always carried a few in my pockets, mom used to think I had them for good luck.
