Been looking at the Inband target systems and was ready to pull the trigger on one... went to the website and they've pulled out of the North American market as of today citing logistic (manufacturing & shipment) concerns. Rats.

How about frETarget as an option?

Has anyone on the forum tried this?

I've built one and they are superbly accurate if you do your bit and build it accurately, been using mine for four months now and still over the moon with it, most difficult bit is building the drive for the witness paper but that is not much of a problem if you can make stuff with your hands and have access to a pillar drill to drill holes that are accurate.

That sounds like bad news if it were true

Freetarget may be the way to go. I contacted Allen Brown , organizer of the FB Freetarget group and got pricing for the electronic portion of the build. Very affordable. They build looks pretty straight forward. Think I'll give it a go and report when finished.

Yes, unfortunately it’s true that InBand decided pull out of the USA to focus on servicing European markets. A lot was at play and in flux regarding the decision, but when Kruger USA folded, it was kind of the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Really a drag, as the OMNI was just finally coming online, and several of the ranges I was working with were ready to go with these as their 50m/25m/10m multiplex setups.
I had even looked into licensing to build here in the ‘States, but when Hertar became the majority partner, my handshake deal with InBand’s owner/designer got kicked to the curb.
Oh well. For those that already own them, I have some spare parts, and can fulfill the warranty repair timeline work. Who knows? Maybe in another year or so the situation will change for the better … anyone with some deeper pockets than me want to become the US distributor for Kruger targets & consumables?

I use freEtarget all the time. Works great. But you do need at least some tinkering/building skills.
