Pardini K58 dot mount?

Anyone ever put a dot sight on a K58? I have looked at the barrel mount slated for a IZH46s and the mount looks like it could clamp on the K58 barrel too.
Opinions? Thoughts?

It will all depend on the diameters of the two brands of barrels. The odds of them being identical are not large, but you may get lucky. If the IZH barrel (and mount) is smaller than the barrel on a K58, the mount won't work, and boring out the clamp would take some careful machining. If the IZH barrel is bigger, there is the possibility of wrapping the K58 barrel with some shim stock to get the mount to clamp on the skinnier barrel properly.
IZH's are notorious for inconsistent dimensions. The two examples I have are 9.89 & 9.94 mm in diameter. I suspect they started with 10 mm OD barrel blanks, and filed & polished them a bit with no special care as to the final OD that ended up. The barrel mount would presumably be designed to fit the maximum diameter (10 mm?) expected, with enough clamping range to deal with skinnier barrels.
I don't have a K58. so you will need to get that measurement elsewhere.

I just bought a K58, will arrive after the 1st. Will be an interesting experiment. I have a spare dot sight. Getting the mount from Amazon/other to see if the "clamp" will fit on the barrel without deflection of the barrel from the top of the K58.
I know the IZH barrel has a bunch of clearance from the top of the IZH allowing the clamp mount to encircle the barrel without impingement.
