Received my Evo 10e from Pilk. Waiting time wasn't too bad for imported air pistol with all the features you select. I will have a bunch of questions for the Steyrvites here, but first things first.

1. For now I plan to use Hill MK5 air pump with air dryer. I am already using it with PCP air rifle. The workout isn't too bad and I can use some exercise.
My air pump hose is set up with quick connect fitting. Filling probe that comes with Evo10 doesn't fit the house fitting or quick connect fitting I am using.
Where can I get the appropriate adapter or maybe a stand alone quick connect probe for this pistol?

2. What is the right way to store this pistol to protect the seals. Loading gate closed or loading gate open.

Most of the Pistols of our range are Steyr Evo 10.
They store it with loading gate closed.

Do NOT store with the loading lever up. It's thin metal, and easily bent when you close the case, or in transit. I had to straighten one when a student shipped his back that way from the OTC after the Junior Olympics.

I lift the load lever just so it isn't compressing the seals, no more, otherwise you can cock the hammer spring along with the recoil reducer spring.
I also unscrew the cylinder so that the belleville washers in the regulator are not under strain. The other benefit is not having the firing valve seal go flat, as it is a $45 part, as opposed to the rest of the seals.
Putting a dab of the grease that is provided on the regulator threads every tin of pellets will go a long way to keep galling at bay. A little moly powder mixed in also helps.

It used to be available on their web site and it's also been published on the USA Shooting site. Yes to unscrewing the air cylinder when the pistol is not in use. I also open the breach slightly to take pressure off the o rings that seal the breach when shooting. This pretty much goes for all brands of air pistols. Other than that, use a bit of silicone grease on the cylinder threads and you should have many hours of fun. I would also use a scuba tank to fill your air pistol. Enjoy!!

Do you unscrew the cylinder completely or just a little?
There was a tube of grease included by Pilk, it wasn't provided by Steyr. Do I put this grease on regulator threads and use silicone grease on the filling probe O-ring or use this grease on both?

Great link, thanks. You mentioned using scuba tank, anything wrong with using a quality pump like Hill MK5? It has air-dryer.

I was looking for a LP filling probe that I can stick into standard 8mm quick connect female plug. I found it online from U.S. company. Thanks for the warning on the lever.

Will this filler probe work ok or does it have to be made from brass?

I can highly recommend PCPTunes - got one for the K12 and it works perfectly.

You'll get a good workout with the pump. The scuba tank is just easier. I have a used one that I paid $90 for a few years ago. It's convenient.

Thanks. My main concern was it was made from stainless steel. Most filler probes are made from brass.

i suspect the only potential problem would be galling, assuming the cylinder threads are also stainless.

This can easily be overcome by simply not cranking them down to tightly and keeping the threads lubricated. I normally spin the cylinder onto the fitting until it stops, that all. No additional torque needed, and certainly no tools. I've only filled maybe 30 cylinders, but so far so good.
