Okay so I went back through a year or so of posts to avoid asking a question asked ad nauseum so here goes. Anyone know of a pistol case that will fit a 17" long Izzy? Kinda looks like diagonal placement may be necessary? Preferably FAA approved in case I move up to PCP competition grade, lockable, aluminum. Something that will look badass when I fly down to Medellin for the Colombian Grand Prix, ha ha, only kidding... sort of. What are people hauling those bad boy Steyr's and Morini's in anyway?

Either one of these cases will fit the Izzy. If you plan on mounting a scope or optics on your pistol, then pick the apache.

Forget aluminum cases, if you have the moola and it's burning a hole in your pocket, and you must impress everyone in the Colombian Grand Prix, Bear Hyde can make you a custom carbon fiber case that will cost a pretty penny...

I have my complete kit in a Pelican Air 1525. Everything I need for the range fits in there in its own molded slot. I have a Walther LP500, and before I sold it, my FWB P44 was ALSO in there, along with their extra cylinders. So it can carry everything you need in just the right size. I got mine from Pelican color case, and went with one of the fun custom color options. I probably get more compliments on my rad case than my 2K+ pistol.

If you get the Dan Wesson case & don't like the logo, you can get rid of (most of) it. Cut a couple layers of paper towel just large enough to cover the logo, soak them with acetone, and cover with a slightly oversized piece of polyethylene bag, taped down around the edges. Let it soak overnight, and then DAB at the logo with an acetone soaked paper towel to soak up the paint. Resist the urge to scrub at it. The paper towel is abrasive enough to put fine scratches into the surface of the plastic. The paint gets into the scratches & won't ever come out. It will take several cycles, but you can get it to the point that the logo is about 95% gone.

For Dan Wesson Case , I just put a few logo stickers over. Mine was plastered with FWB and Steyr stickers. Both companies are happy to send you their stickers, esp FWB.

Thanks for the further suggestions, the Wesson Firearms logo was a concern for me as while I would like a cool looking case, it's too suggestive about what's inside the case.

Negrini is a good- lockable- choice, for more money. Wait for their sales, though. One can often save more than half the advertised price-

Thanks M1963, love the case in tobacco leather, way classier than the usual case and looks like it will fit my Izzy or future PCP upgrade. Mucho Gracias, just what I've been looking for.
