I read the IBU rule book. But there is something still not quite clear. If one misses a target or two, etc; one can use 3 extra hand-loaded rounds to make up of the loss. However, I do not know whether those 3 extra rounds are for 1 shooting session (5 targets), or all 4 (20 targets). If it is the former you can only carry 3, but if it is latter you can carry 12 assuming you are doing the 20km race. My thinking is 3 rounds for total...can anyone confirm that?

I believe it is 3 rounds per shooting stage when extra rounds are allowed.

Since I have a LGB1, am I allowed to load individual round into the magazine first before the start, or I have to load them into the 1 shot magazine after I miss? ie. put all extra round into the diabolo holder, and after a miss, grab a round from the holder, load it into the magazine, then load the magazine into the rifle? (as if it were target sprint?).

I believe that the extra rounds pertain to relays only.
