MONTHLY AP LEAGUE MARCH 2021

Post by siordian1 »

Ok, lets keep it going.

To all you new shooters, we keep it simple here. Just shoot, you can post as you go or hold it until the end. Let us know what went well and what didn't. Any advise is a help to all.

Have a good month.

Holy smokes, two new shooters on the same day, and great scores! Welcome!!! We are just motivating ourselves and each other to continue to train and improve, while having fun along the way. We are glad to have you!

97, 98, 97, 98, 94. 93= 577

Walther LP 500
Meisterkugeln 7gr
Sub-6 Hold

New PR
I've had my new gun (LP 500) for a month now and I'm finally figuring out a good fit for me. The last few weeks have been decent scores ruined by strings of shots that broke mid-movement because of not having a comfortable hold. Things got better as I trimmed the new grip more and my contact improved. Feeling pretty good now and last night I felt like I couldn't miss. Struggled a little bit at the end and my second to last shot ruined a potentially awesome score, but I'm still pretty happy overall and I'm hoping to continue feeling better on the new gun.

Thanks! But what's REALLY impressive is my ability to dwell on one bad shot out of 60, instead of celebrating a new PR.

I just shot another 577 tonight, to match my new PR from a few days back. But more importantly tonight, only shot one 8 and nothing lower. Would have been good to stick to only 9s and 10s, but I'm happy to have held my nerve and not dropped any fliers.
