Adapter to use 10m front sights on a Weihrauch?

Can't believe these aren't more common but I can't find anything ready made to adapter a modern Centra-Gehmann type front sight with a 14mm dovetail to a modern Weihrauch type front barrel with milled in dovetail 8.5mm wide (at widest point).
Surely somebody else has done this? What works best? I've already tried a few shims but it's not ideal or strong. Thanks
