Ok, it's the last month of 2020. A year we could have done without. Lets shoot our best and finish this year!
Thanks
I will get the results from Nov done up and posted.

Well.. at least no 7s this time
The flier was the classic case of messing up the routine when resetting, I had trigger freeze and decided to start over but apparently relaxed before moving off the trigger. Mental mishap.

I was trying too hard to fight the movement for a bit, had to remind myself to trust my hold and focus on just keeping the sights aligned and squeezing out a smooth trigger release.

New personal best for me, but not terribly pleased how I fell apart at the end there. I was on the road for much better things and I guess my nerves got the better of me.
I made a couple of fitment changes to the gun this month when I realized I had been training around worsening issues. Also made an adjustment to my shot process that actually seems to have been pretty positive. I feel like my grouping is getting tighter even if it hasn't translated to more points on the board (yet).

After a disappointing start last month spent some time adjusting the grip and trigger of my new pistol and everything feels a lot better now.
Still have some work to do stopping the odd silly shot but onwards and upwards:

My second time shooting the full 60 shot match. Kids make things a little more difficult but I guess you could say itβs distraction training. Improvements can be made.

Well, some of you did really well. Makes me proud of this group.
To the others, "Bailiff, whack his peepee!"
It's OK George, you can do the whacking.

I shot a 547 last week. I shoot outside next to my house. I then shot a 532 at the club indoor range. Same distance, but I seem to find my point of aim changes ?? Anybody else have this happen? Must be the lighting I assume?

This happens to me when I shoot at different times during the day. My indoor home range has windows to one side and the POI is definitely different depending on the lighting. I try to shoot my AP league targets once the sun has set, as a rule.

Ok I've ditched my Knoblochs again. They make the sights and targets so clear but my scores tumble - I dont get it.
And with that said, a new PB by 1 point !!!

Might be the lighting coming from different angles affecting how you see the sights

You don't WANT the sights and target clear. You only want the front sight focused on. You may be using the iris too small (if you have one), or the wrong diopter.
With the target sharp, you may be trying to "ambush" it as it wanders by. Keep in mind that what you are seeing and doing is in the past due to mental processing time.
