Does anyone know the specs for the two small screws that hold the rear sight plate in position on a TOZ 35 free pistol? Mine has just lost one of the pair, and I don't have a spare. I'm hoping to find a suitable replacement on line from a fasteners supplier. All suggestions gratefully received.

The Russians use standard metric screws. The outer diameter of mine (from a TOZ-35M) is 1.85 mm and the pitch appears to be about .40 mm. That's about the best I can do. It is the same thread as used on the TOZ trigger blade.

They are M2 screws with a pitch of 0.4 mm.
Hope this helps

In the US, some better hardware stores will carry metric screws that small. I just bought some 2.5 mm hardware last week. Getting them in black, or short may be tricky, but you can blacken them or cut them down. If all else fails, McMaster Carr will have what you need, in a wide range of head styles & finishes.

Given that the hardware store will probably charge you half a dollar a piece, if you want a couple spares, buying 25 or 50 for $8 isn't that bad a deal. If they are the ones I think you need, the options dwindle considerably if you want short & black. Your best bet may be to get the right length & blacken them.

maybe look at RC car suppliers - they use small metric screws that are black...
