Lapua & SK Sponsors 2020 ASSA Nationals

American Smallbore Shooting Association (ASSA) is excited to announce that Lapua and SK have continued to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to smallbore rifle competition in the United States through their sponsorship of the 2020 ASSA National Smallbore Championships to be held July 25-31 at the Chief Wa-Ke-De range in Bristol, IN.
This is the fourth consecutive year that Lapua and SK have collaborated with ASSA not only to sustain, but to also grow smallbore rifle competition in the US. Lapua has also expanded their footprint with the opening of a dedicated smallbore ammunition testing facility in Marengo, OH. Their investment in building this facility effectively doubles the number of rifles that can be annually tested and matched to specific lots of Lapua Midas+ and Center-X ammunition for optimal performance at both 50 and 100 meters. Competitors traveling to and returning from Bristol may have an opportunity to witness the testing of their rifles. An appointment is required for testing and if you are interested, please contact the appropriate test center manager to discuss dates.
Lapua XAct and Midas+ have continued to assist competitors at prone, position, benchrest and F-SBR national and international competitions to achieve podium finishes and set new performance standards in their respective disciplines. The dedication to excellence and quality put into every cartridge allows shooters to focus on their personal performance and not cause them to worry about their ammunition.
A prime example of a success story with Lapua ammunition is that of David Pessall, who used Midas + to set all current ASSA F-SBR open national records at 50 yards, 50 meters and 100 meters. Lapua also holds all ASSA F-SBR records for 1600, 3200 and 6400 match aggregate scores.
