any possibility of changing lp10 trigger into a one stage trigger?

With that 1st stage weight screw, if I unscrew that as much as possible, what innate weight am I still looking at with that loosen 1st stage screw? I assume it is not going to be zero.

Now, if I keep that 1st stage weight minimal, and shorten 1st stage travel down to minimal. I will be feeling that 2nd stage from the get go. I lengthen the sear travel for safety, add 2nd stage weight to total 550gm.

Would that be a “single stage” trigger?

Any experience with this set up? More likelihood of chicken finger, or less?

If you keep the original setting of the sear and follow the manufacturer's recommendation not to change, the second stage will always be very short and will have a point character. Otherwise there is a risk that the trigger will operate irregularly. And you want that?

Sear screw has been reset awhile ago. Screwed in until trigger goes off, now reset at 1/2 turn CCW. Haven’t decide on feasibility of this one stage trigger based on 2nd stage weight and 2nd stage sear travel yet. So haven‘t finalize sear screw with a dab of loctite.

What do you mean by erratic shooting?

I can see accidental shooting if sear set too short, gun goes off with cocking lever closure or accidental bump on the trigger guard. But I think that happens only if sear is set right at sear edge, or sear at less than 1/8 turn CCW.

In order to reliably and continuously lock the sear in the second stage, the minimum resistance of the second stage must be 130 to 150 grams. On the other hand, the entire resistance of 500 to 550 grams cannot be adjusted to just the second stage, which will always be sharp-pointed, without movement. Because such an adjustment would cause rapid sear wearing. I can not recommend a different setting.
