USA Shooting COVID-19- Statement regarding Rifle-Pistol National Junior Olympic Championships and Smallbore Rifle Olympic Trials Part 2
March 12, 2020, Colorado Springs, Colorado
The Rifle-Pistol National Junior Olympic Championships originally scheduled for April 6-26, 2020 have been postponed by USA Shooting Leadership (in consultation with our Coaching Staff, Administrators, and The COVID-19 Taskforce).

The rescheduled date will be announced via our website and social media platforms as soon as a decision has been made. USA Shooting will resend Junior Olympic invites to those who have previously qualified. Athletes will have a new opportunity to either accept or decline.

Participants can request a lodging deposit refund for Junior Olympics. If you would like a refund, please email rpjuniorolympics@usashooting.org. USA Shooting can also hold the deposit should the later date work.

Regarding Smallbore Rifle Olympic Trials Part 2, scheduled for March 29-31, 2020 at Ft. Benning, Georgia we are currently evaluating the practicality based on the current environment and are continuing as planned. In the interim, we are looking into alternative options for potential venues and dates. We will continually provide updates as the situation develops.

Any rescheduling of these events will be done in consultation with our stakeholders (including but not limited to: USAMU, WCAP, NCAA, USOPC, U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center).

We will update our community with more information once it becomes available.
