I haven’t kept up on all the changes in the World programs, but is FP still being shot in other non-Olympic events ?

Yes, but probably not in World Cups, although the last Junior World Cup included it.
It was included as a mixed team event at the European Games in Minsk (as was Standard Pistol).
It wasn't included in the Pan American Games in Lima.

Yep

I’m not sure if I like the mixed team format for any event, but I also love Free Pistol, so the more it gets fired, the better. I would support Women’s 50m Free Pistol though, as an additional event. Not likely to happen, I don’t think.

I'd rather see a mixed 50 Meter Pistol than the Mixed Team Air Pistol or Rifle events. In our regional events we shot Free Pistol as a mixed event and everyone had a good time.

I rather watch Mixed FP than Womans Soccer.
