If this is more appropriate in the Biathlon section of the forum please go ahead and move it, although it doesn't seem that section gets much traffic.

I had the pleasure last week of attending the IBU World Cup Biathlon event at Soldier Hollow, Utah as a guest of the U.S. Biathlon Association. As a USA Shooting athlete, they were kind enough to give me access to the shooting range and I was able to watch some of the shooting action up close.

Team USA put on a good show. All of these biathletes are amazing.

Lots of photos and videos can be seen at the link below to my album:

Sweet. Always wanted to try biathlon, never had the chance. Someday.

Thanks for posting.
Did you have fun?
Biathlon is such a fantastic sport to do and or watch.
That is why it is one of the most watched sports in the world.
Too bad North Americans just don't get it.
Watch a euro biathlon and the Superbowl looks small and definitely not nearly as exciting.

Yes, I did have fun. It was nice getting to hang out with the biathletes during the week.

I've been a biathlon fan for a long time. I've seen the crowds at Ruhpolding, Oberhof, and Nove Mesto.

Unfortunately, the lack of winning North American biathletes doesn't help the sport to grow or gain attention here.
