Hi again,

Does anyone think that I’ll need the dry-pac for the Hill Pump, in San Francisco, CA?

It doesn’t get humid here. But there is a lot of fog. I’ll be storing the pump and pistol in a golden rod equipped safe

Thx again

I am in San Jose and decided not to use one.

With a FX 3 Stage pump with a DIN connector, I charge the cylinder to 220 bar, then wait a few minutes and bleed the excess 20 bar to drain any moisture. The cylinders will expire anyway in 10 years, I though bleeding the moisture in this way would be enough.

Thx gimgim!

And yes Rover, that does sound stupid doesn’t it? ;)

I guess I equate “humid” with heat. Being born and raised in SF, fog is cold “normal” for me :)

Don't bother with the pump. There are dive shops all over the place to fill a SCUBA tank.

If I lived in tbe Bay Area, Id own a scuba tank. So much easier, and the air they putnin a tank has gone through a drier. I have a small tank and the only problem for me is filling it every couple weeks..... There is an annual scuba tank inspection and some fees, but it is hands down better than pumping the gun.....
