Matchguns MG2-E firing issue "only clicks after cleaning"

Post by BobDeere »

first of all thanks to let me be a member.
i bought a Matchguns MG2-E rapidfire last week.
i try to shoot it a few rounds "50-100" but realised it was real dirty.
so i took it a part. barrell , grip and upper part " in aluminium"
nothing special there, total of 10 screws.
after that i cleaned and was sure not to touch the electronics..
but after that.. only click click "like when its in safe zone"
i can see the switch/solenoid strikes at the rear but the hammer dont strikes..
ill like to open the rear but cant figure out if i should do that or how ?
any idea ?
Thanks for the help !

since the solenoid works, try and use a fresh battery.

the solenoid strikes and the battery is new.
but i have no idea ow long it should strike..
you have a screw at the rear of the solenoid can you adjust the lenght with that?
anyhow i dont think its that . i try to bypass the solenoid by striking the lever directly with a thin bent rod
but nothing.
what about the cartridge ?
do i need one to do s complete strike ?
i remember it didn need to.

Thanks for the help

i have the mechanical version so i cannot help further. my comment for a fresh battery came from my matchuguns mg1e air pistol experience (electronic trigger).
you could always remove the upper part and try to re install it.
