Walther LGM-2 Repair question

So my LGM-2 (it's an SSP for those who aren't familiar with them), is failing to charge. I swing the lever foward, which opens the action, and then normally I'd bring the lever back, charging the cylinder with air. What I get currently, is I swing the lever forward, action opens, and then as I bring it back I hear air exiting the cylinder and it requires less pressure to close. The cylinder doesn't seem to charge with air at all.

Based on this, I'm thinking a busted seal. Looking at the exploded diagram (https://www.carl-walther.com/fileadmin/ ... 8138_g.pdf) I'm thinking part 79. Also part's 6 (the barrel seals) and part 47 the breech seal.

Anyone have any other suggestions? Also anyone know where to get replacement seals besides calling up walther and trying out my German?

Thanks!

I used LGM-2 several years ago. First of all you need to check part 79 (valve seal). It is easy to buy spare parts in Europe from this web shop ( its owner also read and write letters in English, not only German) https://www.schiesssport-billharz.de/sh ... ildichtung /
Another parts fof LGM-2: https://www.schiesssport-billharz.de/sh ... ehre/lgm-2
The worn sealing of air piston can be second reason - this is expensive part : https://www.schiesssport-billharz.de/sh ... Kolben-kpl. so better to check it before ordering...

Mine suffered the same exact failure. Send it Scott Pilkington, the owner of this forum.

Update: I disassembled the rifle, and it is a blown valve seal. I'll get with Mr. Pilkington and see if he can source a spare seal.
