Oh, the shame!

I was gifted with the exquisite SAM M10 AP by a retiring shooter. It was new in '96, so was a bit tired and leaky (kinda like William).
I sent it back to the factory in Switzerland (no one in the U.S. would touch it) for an overhaul. About $350 later I got it back in beautiful shape, including having the cylinders re-dated, good 'til 2028.
I spent a bit of time filing the grips, setting up the trigger, and generally tweaking it. Now I was ready for a match!
Under the watchful eyes of Siordian1 and Rwilson (airgun purchasers extraordinaire), I started the match.
95, 96, 95, 94! I was on my way to glory (local anyway). Then I dropped 30 points on the next two strings...
Sob.
What happened? Well, I kinda think the breakfast vodka wore off.
