Walther SSP trigger adjustment

Good Day Fellow Shooters,
I have a new Walther SSP with a problem other shooters also discussed before.
Is it possible to shorten the trigger free play?
The VERY long way makes difficult to shoot rapid fire events. Not only you loose time
while squeezing the trigger to the first stage, you also loosing control of the movement.
Any advise how to do the adjustment?

There should be a manual with the gun....

The one weird thing I encountered adjusting my SSP's trigger (for something similar to what the OP wanted), is that I could dry fire it fine, but then when I went to the range and live fired, it'd double fire. This is not something I encountered on any other mechanical triggered pistol. My Pardini SP electronic did that, but that is due to the microswitch on the electronic trigger.
Anyway, as a result, I could only adjust the trigger at the range, and immediately test it.

If you hoped for a simple explanation saying "adjust screw X anti clockwise until you have the desired result" it is not that easy. Reducing first stage travel needs 2 adjustment to be made at the same time. If you do not understand what you are adjusting, you could end up in trouble with a trigger that does not operate at all. The manual does describe how to adjust the trigger, the only problem is the terms they use to describe the adjustments. Pawl intersection, trigger slack power, sear point power and trigger slack. Read the manual, look at the pictures and if you are not confident, find some one with experience that is and get them to do it.

Thanks to everybody who answered my question.
I'm not new to shooting and read the manual and the previous posts.
Thanks to KH250 for the diagram. It is easy to understand and helpful.
I'm able to adjust the length and weight of the two stages.
I just thought if I can shorten the free play without interrupting the
two stages I already tuned according to my preferences.
