NRA/CMP National Matches 2017 calendar for Camp Perry

Start date for pistol is Monday June 26!
I can see a lot of pissed of people who make reservations for the next year getting bumped because it doesn't line up with the historical week after July 4.

Every other group has had to change historical dates, why should pistol be any different?

I think the schedule looks good but may interfere with other matches like the Canton Regional and the USAS Rifle and Pistol Championships.
Lots of folks make their lodging reservations a year in advance. With the shift in dates, it could force a lot of people to change plans.

I don't understand only the EIC Service match on Saturday, and adding the .22 EIC to Sunday...

Those dates don't one up with what the NRA told us the 2017 Camp Perry dates would be.
They told us July 11th - 16th would be pistol week.
I will email the NRA and ask them to confirm the dates. I will post their reply.

Here is the response from the NRA. It will be earlier in 2017.....
"The dates are June 26 -June 30. If you need anything further, just let me know.

Can you advise when the 2017 NRA pistol championship week will be, at Camp Perry (next year)?
There are conflicting dates being circulated. This 2016 season was July 12th-16th. I found a CMP link showing it will be late June for 2017, but the schedule we got from NRA shows July 11th, 2017."
