Actually, I believe I have, on one or two occasions, actually seen one. I guess that makes them not completely beneath my notice.

You can certainly check with Pilkguns. I know they had some parts that they were hanging onto to do the occasional repair.

You can also try these guys: http://www.pyramydair.com/

I believe they are still the current US importer for IZH's. They have an airgun repair service as well as doing warranty work.

The trick with the IZH-46M is that parts can be very hard to come by, depending on what needs replacing. At one time, cannibalizing dead warranty returns was the only way some dealers could get parts.

Ouch, that's bad news. I'll try them, Thanks.

If the repair situation is as dark as suggested, what should I start saving for as a replacement? It is a shame, I really like the Izzy.

Don't fret; you'll find a fix. If not, there a WHOLE lot of posts here on the subject. Just do a search.

I would suggest starting by looking for a Pardini K58. It is also a SSP that you'll like better than the IZH.

A lot depends on what's wrong. You've never said what the problem is.

Box it up, send it to Buck at Pilk. He rebuilt my older 46 and it's like new, as well as a FWB 100 and Steyr LP10. In fact, any issue with any decently made AP, box it up, send it to Buck. Don't even hesitate, just do it.

Can somebody from Russia buy and ship the parts out of the country? I think minor parts would be no problem. Of course I have no idea what Russian law says about it.

A friend of mine tried to get parts through Czechoslovakia a while back. No cigar. Everyone who has parts is a gunsmith, and is saving what parts they have to repair customer pistols.

Unless you really abuse this pistol, there isn't much there to wear out, except the seals. Seals are available here in the states.

They used to be the importer. They have some parts left, but they've been running out of a lot of stuff. I suspect they are just selling off whatever they have left. I've actually picked up quite a few items from them, including some obscure stuff the (usually) doesn't break. I've got ~15 of them to keep working for the team I coach, and the students have managed to break some unusual items.
