Does anyone know whether the scope rail shown below is available from PardiniUSA? It seems like a better way to go than using the scope mounts usually provided by them. The image was taken from PardiniCanada.

Larry's Guns in Maine makes and sells them,
And yes it is a better way to mount a Red Dot.
Mine is older before the combo irons were available.

Larry's makes two styles. One has the setup for the iron sight on the back while the other does not. $100 and 90 respectively. i have the one with the sight on my .22 and the other one on my .32acp. If I did it again I would probably not get the one with the sight as I probably never will shoot irons.

Pardini has the same thing but is more expensive I think. I couldn't find it on their site but have before.

Greetings,

When you do buy your scope rail, verify if the mounting screws are Imperial or Metric.

I repaired several "professional" installations in the past where Imperial screws were installed and Metric should have been used.

Metric screws have a 90 degree countersink.

Imperial are "usually" 84 degrees.

Also use caution when drilling and tapping the shroud to avoid damage to the barrel. Start with a Plug tap and finish with a bottom tap.

Clean the threads with solvent and apply a little dab of Blue LocTite.

Cheers,

Dave

Call Warne Precision.

Or call us at 1-800-683-5590 Toll Free, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Pacific

Order two front mounts for a CZ 550 rifle, it's the same 19mm European dove tail that's on the Pardini. Rings are high quality and stay put, tell them it's a Pardini pistol and they will know what to send you.

Available in 25mm or 30mm, fixed or quick detach.

No need to drill and tap the Pardini.
