FWB 65 overhaul

Post by motorcycle_dan »

Finally found a FWB 65 in my price range. It shoots as is but the seal cone looks dirty. Would like to send it out for overhaul. Who does these spring piston pistols at a reasonable cost?

Did you ask pilk about the price of the overhaul? I guess it would cost you around $100-$150, a bit more if the mainspring(s) needs to be replaced. Newer OEM seals are made of a synthetic material and are green in color; the piston buffer is black.

Sent them an email. Wasn't sure he worked on them.

I've had pilkguns do a refurb on a FWB 65. Excellent work at a reasonable price. I also have had them work on my Morini 162EI and cylinders. They treated me in an outstanding manner and were very competent. I always look to them first for air gun work.
