I recently picked up a Feinwerkbau C60 that I will be shooting 4P with in a winter indoor league, and am very excited about this rifle. I do feel that I need a set of sight risers. In offhand with the butt plate dropped as low as it goes, I would like to hold my head more erect instead of scrunching it down to see through the sights. But, I also have to be able to shoot prone and sitting with the same setup and would prefer not to change sights and risers between positions. I am 6' 3" and have difficulty with firearm fit, so I find it really cool to now own a rifle with adjustments.

I have several questions:

This rifle has a Walther rear sight/anti-glare tube, which I plan on continuing to use. I will just add an adjustable iris on the rear and should be all set except for the height. Was the Walther rear sight standard on the C60?

Is it worth purchasing a 22mm front tube? I found two places online that sell a 13mm riser block with a tall looking 22mm tube at a good price (~$90).

How tall of a rear block would I need to go with the 22mm tube/13mm riser?

Or-stick with the current front tube on the rifle and buy two equal height risers? I have read that 16mm is a common amount of lift.

Any advice on sight risers would be appreciated.

Brian, no the C60 did not come from the factory with a Walther sight. I don't think you need to change to a 22mm tube. My suggestion would be to buy sight riser for both the front and rear (matching) sizes and stack them until you find the height you like and will work for you. I would buy some different heights so you can go up in increments until you find the correct height. For example: 10, 8 and 6mm high and then mix and match. Make sure you buy the risers to fit a FWB rail. I would also suggest using ESP products. Earnest Shooting Products does not have a website, but someone scanned their 2008 catalog and posted on the web, so the prices may be slightly higher.

Would it make sense to buy something like the Centra Block Club adjustable risers (10-22mm rise)? I found a distributor who sells the Centra Block Club for Anschutz for $80.

If I had to purchase two sets of blocks to stack, it would pay for this Centra setup, wouldn't it?

I have the centra club riser set on my walther LG 300xt. Its a phenomenal value. For the price of a pair of conventional risers, you gain the extra heights available In the centra set, and the ability to off set them. The only possible down side to these types of sets is that it adds multiple additional failure points from possible looseness.

I plan to buy one for my smallbore rifle soon.
