Very beautiful pistol, a work of art so to speak. I also love the box for the pistol, did you make it? I might copy the box, for my Hammerli 208 and accessories.

Larry Carter may still have some inventory of that TOZ35 factory case.

As slofyr notes, everything pictured (the box, tools, cleaning kit, etc) is factory supplied. His link to spare boxes is quite a find. And the price is pretty reasonable, too. A call to Mr. Carter might clarify if it will fit your Hammerli 208.

The Team Shooting Stars program, in Dallas, holds PTO matches periodically and includes 50M pistol. They shoot at Dallas Pistol and Revolver Club.
Check out their website:

They used to hold a 50M pistol match once a month at Haltom City Rifle and Pistol Club, as well, but not sure how active that match has been in the last few years.

I'm familiar with Dallas Pistol and Revolver Club. I've shot 10m Air Pistol Regionals there 25-30 years ago.
Perhaps I should have written that my interest in Free Pistol is luke warm at best. There are few if any places to practice 50m in this area (the primary restraint to excelling at the sport). I don't care to pay $500 a year for membership in teamshootingstars, just to pay another $30 per to shoot 4 Free Pistol matches a year. It's clear they cater to developing young shooters, not some retiree like myself.
My Field Target buddy who RSOs at Haltom City tells me they haven't shot 50m free pistol there for years.
I like to play (just for fun) at FP, when the rare opportunity presents. But I spend the majority of my time shooting airgun Field Target at
http://www.dallasftclub.org, just 3 miles further south than Dallas Pistol Club.

No. I purchased my Steyr from another shooter from Oklahoma. We both attended the annual week-long shooter's camp at the (then NRA) Olympic Shooting Center in Colo. Springs. I went two years (1990-1991), so don't remember which year I bought the pistol. The US shooting Team armorer went through it before I took it home.
The previous owner didn't enjoy shooting 50m, and I wanted a better pistol than my previous one, a Pardini-Fiocchi PGP-75.
