Today I phoned a big retailer in Germany on behalf of a friend and.....
"LP10 IST NICHT MEHR LIEFERBAR"!!!!!!! Steyr is not delivering it any more!
It seems the rumours I heard some months ago, which I shared in here, is taking shape....a new pistol for the olympics games is about to come.

It's hard to believe that after 15 years since its introduction, the LP10 is going to be phased out?

I don't think there will be any new technological advances to make it more refined and accurate than it is now, maybe some tweaks, a digital manometer (like the morini), new grip, and dropping the barrel shroud.

Due to popular demand there are longer delivery times at the moment but of course the LP 10 is still available.
Be sure STEYR SPORT is continuously improve the products.

maybe they will sell electronic mode only ?

I don't want rush buying new pistol when it come out. You know why lol

How odd

Did Steyr change anything in production at all now that there is a sudden spike in firearm sales in Austria due to the refugee crisis? In a business point of view one will make as many shotguns and hunting rifles as possible especially the former type is selling like hot cakes.

I contacted other retailers on behalf of this friend, and found out that they are still getting LP10 delivered these days, but at a very slow rate!

Still waiting to see the new electronic trigger though!
