I have just picked up my new Matchguns MG4. The slide seems extremely hard to operate. Is this normal or is there an adjustment to be made. Any help appreciated. Cheers Jules.

Its normal. Mine was the same - the springs seemed so strong I began to wonder if the slide would recoil back far enough to reload a new round. Some other shooters have reported going down to 1.1gr V310 with MG4's so everything must be okay.

It needs a few rounds to loosen up.

Did the jamming problems also affect Centrefire? If so did you get the new one with the new feeder?

Mine is a 2014 make. Says so on the side anyway!
I used the pistol in my first major Centrefire Match and didn't have any feed problems at all.
Very smooth shooting. Very happy with my purchase.

In my experience my pistol is great so far and I did not have encounter problem ever since. And hope it would stay great as always.
