I shoot air pistol and have a room set up at work to practice. I have a target box mounted to a camera tripod, the center of the bull is 55" from the floor. Is that correct? I just put it where it seemed right, but now I wonder if it's either too high or too low. Thanks

This was the advice given to me, works very well.

Then you just have to adjust the height of your reduced distance target to give you the same front sight height.
If your target is at 10m the centre should be 1.4m +/-50mm above the level of the firing point floor.
