Post by sagara wimaladharma »

Dear Every one,
1. I would like to know the differences of pardini SP.Cal .22 and Pardini SP Cal.22 ( Rapid).
I need to choose one of these pistols to fire both 25m Pistol and rapid fire Pistol events.
when I check fetures are similar.
Greatly appreciate your ideas.
Thanks Rgds

Hi Sagara,

This one has been discussed a little in the past.

To give you some context these graphs may give some insight into trends over the last 5 years (2014 vs 2010).

My thoughts are that if you are buying new there is no reason not to get the RF model; but if you snag a bargain on a SP it should work too.

Its all about the weight of the bolt.

Interesting to see that the GSP is still highly placed in the rankings - if I'm reading the charts correctly, 2nd in both.

Nope, GSP is 4th in rapid.

In a few weeks I will have one of each of Pardini SP and Pardini SP-RF, both about two years old.

Looking at them quickly the obvious major difference is the bolt - the RF has been lightened extensively, the foresight is taller on the RF, that's about it.
I haven't looked down the barrels side by side.

Juggling weights, putting more weights into the RF so both pistols weigh the same in total, the RF seems to recoil less with the same grip and ammo.
