Hey everyone!

My name is Mel, I'm part of a a multi-disciplinary team from QUT in Brisbane, Australia! We are researching dietary requirements for biathletes for optimised sports performance.

We are currently surveying professional and recreational biathletes to gather information regarding dietary intakes to support our research. This sort of information can assist with creating nutritional recommendations to enhance sports performance! We are looking forward to exciting developments for the future of this wonderful sport!

We are looking for biathletes, former biathletes and recreational participants to fill in in our survey which takes about 2 minutes to complete; and we thought this might be a great place to look. Thanks in advance for your support, if you have the time we would absolutely love to hear from you!

Below is a link to our survey:

And it can be found on our new facebook page 'Biathlon Dietary Intake Data Brisbane'

Cheers everyone!

In our early competitions in Germany the loser in Biathlon competitions had to eat yellow snow - that helped improving the performance a lot...
(just joking, sorry...)

Frank Zappa warned Alaskans: While you're "trudging 'cross the tundra, mile after mile, to St. Aloysius' Pancake Breakfast.....don't you eat that yellow snow, where those dogs and huskies go.........wee wee."
