FWB 65 seal replacement

Post by divingin »

Apologies if this is a rehash.

I read in one spot that is is possible to replace the breech seal and piston buffer (the little knob guy at the bottom of the breech) without removing the piston. Is that the case - A matter of prying out the breech seal and buffer and inserting new ones?

I have an (informal) match coming up, and would prefer not to tear the thing apart until afterwards (I'm assuming the piston seal would need to be replaced, but it seems to be shooting well at the moment.)

Any assistance would be appreciated;

jky
