Morini 162 EI trigger

Post by Silvershooter »

From the Morini instruction manual:
3.3 Adjustment of second stage travel
Turning adjustment screw (3) clockwise increases the load. The range is 50 - 300 g.

The heading is Adjustment of 2 nd stage travel, but goes on to describe adjusting load.
Q How do I adjust for a crisp trigger, without it being too lite ? (at the moment it is very spongy.)

TIA

The second stage travel is not adjustable, however a very small amount can
be had on the later trigger microswitch setting. (The early 15v trigger had
more travel available on the switch - different board).
Not mentioned in the book is the screw on top of the trigger assy. 162088,
this is used to set the microswitch or trigger point.
Set fine gives a crisp trigger (set too fine and the switch will not reset).
Set a little course does give a very small second stage travel or feel.

Thanks David M
I tried this (from the instructions in the TenP Files) and have backed the screw out about 1/4 turn.
I will have another go, maybe less than 1/4 wil do the trick.

i wouldn't recommend it. have tried it in my 162e (15v board) and the feeling was weird. best stick to the crisp factory setup.
