I have two Walther CP2's, one mine, one my wife's, and 6 cylinders, 3 long for me, 3 short for her. All but one (one of her short ones) have developed leaks around the poppet valve in the cylinder. Not from around the o-ring when attached to the pistol, but from the little poppet valve inside the cylinder which is depressed when the cylinder is attached. It's pretty much like a Schrader valve used on tire inner tubes. Seems like it could be screwed out and a new one inserted but I don't even see these parts on the part list, it appears they are integral with the cylinder and not serviceable, at least no parts are listed. Anyone know where to obtain parts for these, or to get them repaired?

I believe that Earl's Repair Service, Inc. has all the valve parts. I got hold of the parts diagrams and number lists a few years ago, but don't have them handy at the moment. If i can find them, i'll post a link for you.

Note that if your valves are breaking down, your cylinders may not be new enough to use in sanctioned matches. I'm not really familiar with the dating rules. Maybe someone else can educate me on what the CO2 cylinder rules are...

Unfortunately, I think the ISSF doesn't differentiate between gas types or cylinder working pressures. Here is what it says:

"It is the athlete’s responsibility that any air or CO2 cylinder is within manufacturer’s validity date (maximum of ten (10) years)"
