I bought an used Feinwerkbau 103 ssp airpistol last week.
Got to try it today for the first time. Not bad at all! :)
Muzzle velocity seems to vary a lot. Sometimes when I open the cocking lever to load again, some pressurized air escapes.
Sometimes not. Seller said the pistol had been serviced and not fired much after that. But how long has it been stored and was it stored "armed" at some point..
What do you think is wrong? Tired firing spring? Worn seals?

Re: Feinwerkbau 103 inconsistent velocity
SSPs are the MOST consistent of all air pistols. Your gun may need the pistol seal(s) lubed, but I'm SURE the problem can be cured by increasing the striker spring tension (turn of a screw).
Oops! That's PISTON seals lubed.

Re: Feinwerkbau 103 inconsistent velocity
That simple fix? Great! I´ll start carving a new grip for this pistol.
I disassembled the pistol a bit after sending that first post.
Seems someone had lost the small steel ball that is used to lock the fire/dryfire lever in place.
Other than that inside looked pretty clean.

Re: Feinwerkbau 103 inconsistent velocity
Just in case you get lost in assembling the pistol , take a look at Mark Cone's diassembly of his FWB 100. The internals are the same as the 103. Remember to lightly lube the cocking linkages, (I use FWB special grease) piston seal, and bolt o-ring when assembling.

Re: Feinwerkbau 103 inconsistent velocity
Kevin, thanks for that link.
I already assembled the pistol and shot 60 pellets.
Didn´t take it all apart, just quick check to see if there was dirt inside.

...and your results?
Re: Feinwerkbau 103 inconsistent velocity
Pistol works the way it did before I took it apart - so no harm done.
I haven´t tested adding tension to that striker spring.
Will try next week.
