steyr lp50 mags, extensions possible?

Post by Allheart »

Hey guys, I'm looking into purchasing a steyr lp50 and was wondering how the semi auto cycling worked? Im wondering if it would be possible to get a friend to make up acouple extended mags for me 10-20 shots without having to reload would be unreal!!! Is there a spring or anything that thing that would make an extended mag not cycle properly?

Extended magazines would leave the front of some pellets unsupported. Which may let them protrude out of the magazine in front, due to the (light, though) recoil. That may sertainly jam the gun, possibly cause breackage of some of the delicate internal parts of the gun.
Let`s move a bit further:
What about a 20 or even a 30 shot magazine, and trigger converted to "selective fire" style? Semiauto, full auto and 3-shot burst? Wow.

The spring is in the gun, not the magazine, I think it will have limited travel.
If you want more shots you would need to extend that also.
