It seems to me that li32 S&W L is the default ammo for CFP. U was thinking about trying to learn this discipline which also means I can practice B/E..
My biggest concern is the cost of ammo. I wonder if anyone can point out which brand is the cheapest? I an use the cheap ammo for practice, but save some Lapua for matches. Is there any brand that has a cost equal to 25 cent a round? Or the only way to cut down the cost is to do reloading.
Advice please.

I had a 1lb of N310 last me 4 years. Shooting my 32. You can probably shoot your 32 cheaper that 22 if you reload. Getting into reloading a 32 is not that expensive. Purchased most of my equipment second hand. You do need a good quality powder drop and a good set of scales. I use a rockchucker and lee dies. Jump in!!!!

Greetings,

Fiocchi makes fairly good ammo for the 32 wadcutter loading. Also, the brass is designed for reloading the full length wadcutter bullet. That is, it is not thick in the mid-section so the expander plug will not create a bulge.

Shop around, I have found it on sale occasionally for $16.00 a box of 50 if you buy in quantity.

Cheers,

Dave

Unless you're sponsored by an ammo factory (or have a wealthy father) there is no way you can get to prtactice decently in CFP without reloading.
