steyr lp5p jamed locks up any help

Hi just purchased a used lp5p the first 20-25 shots ok would miss fire every 2 or 3 shots. Now it locks up and will not fire. Anyone know what to do

I suspect the mag advance groves are wore out but as much as I enjoy troubleshooting I'm suggesting sending it into Pilkguns for a service.
