Hi. I have a problem with the trigger of my morini .
I bought it from someone else so I don't know complete history of the pistol. .
After researching about the trigger not firing ,I found some similar solutions. But the most worrying thing is that the microswitch adjustment screw 162083 seems to be missing from my pistol !!!
I can see the place where it is supposed to be but can't see the screw even with a magnifying glass.
The pistol was working fine and one day just went silent.
My first reaction was to change batteries, but that didn't help.
Next I read about the microswitch and after reaching it , noticed the screw number 162083 to be missing.
The little red dot on the microswitch works when pressed and the solenoid/plunger is activated .

Is it possible for the pistol to be firing without the screw in question
Please solve my puzzle , thanks.

Normal adjustment of this screw is for 2nd stage point. You slowly screw it in until the pistol fires then back it off 1/4 to1/3 of a turn, adjusting for feel.
Yes, it should work without the screw fitted, missing will only change the feel of second stage to more of a roll off feel.
Make sure there is enough spring tension on the second stage spring to allow the micro switch to reset. Incorrect tension can cause non firing.

Hi. The adjustment screw was where it was supposed to be. After finding the right tool for it, I am able to access it. Now I can't get the correct adjustment to operate the pistol .
Please guide

Back the screw off two turns.... does the pistol fire ?
If not remove the switch plate screw and carefully lift the switch plate out of the frame, be careful of not damaging the wires.
Manually operate the micro switch.......does it fire ?
If it does it is a adjustment/second stage spring problem.
If it does not fire it is a circuit problem. Seek help.
