I get confused about how much should i work on my technique (the whole cycles of shot) and other drills like triggering or FIGURE OF 8 ,etc.
I fear that if dont master my technique I would loose grip over it but during this time other aspects become weak and thus hampering the whole technique.
Kindly advice.
regards

I can honestly say that I cannot remember ever carrying out specific drills to rectify a faulty aspect of my technique.
(That is a lie. When I started shooting RFP I did 1st & 2nd shot drills to learn the transition)
Instead, every time I shot in training I would concentrate on one aspect to make sure it was as good as I could make it.
If you have learned an aspect of your technique properly then it will take years (yes, I do mean years) for you to forget it.
I'm sure that others will disagree with me.
