That certainly very competitive price wise for a good beginning pistol.
For juniors, any idea how easy they are to cock compared to an IZH-46M?

Just curious, on the FAS 604, how does the hinge hold up over time on this top opening air gun? I would think that if it develops any play in the hinge, it would effect the position of the sights. Looks like a great practice air gun for 45 bullseye shooters (similar grip angle).

Both sights and the barrel are firmly fixed in the opening section, and are therefore locked together.
I have never seen a 604 with wear around the hinge pin.

The FAS is underrated, it's much more than a beginner's pistol.

The scissor action of an under-lever is an easier motion than pressing down a top lever, so the FAS requires different leverage and uses different muscles. I would not consider it difficult to charge, it's a pistol that you can shoot all day. Some children might not like the FAS, but most adults should get along with it just fine. From what I've seen with new shooters and people of small stature, the weight and size of the Izzy is much more challenging than charging the FAS.

Soon - about Jul/Aug. I believe that these will be the next FAS models to be made by Chiappa. Not sure how they will differ from the last 607s that were made..

Thanks Leon. I have an as new 607 which is a remarkable piece of engineering and design. I hope Chiappa maintain the same level of QC.
My apologies for temporarily diverting to the 607.
