Walther SSP-E experience?

Now that the SSP-E has been out for awhile and freely available, I wonder if any owners would care to share their experience with it?

I am particularly interested in the trigger - feel, ease of adjustment ( compared to the mechanical version) and the ability to adjust it to single stage.

Thanks...

Just wrote to Robert Mitchell of USA Shooting, and this is his answer:

"Dear Vincent,
Thanks for your message. We have not updated the California Olympic Exempt
list. The SSP -E version of the Walther model is in fact the same gun as the
SSP with a different trigger. Purchase of the E model should be permitted
but approval sale is with the vendor and their interpretation of the
regulation...."

I would suggest you to ask your FFL to see if it is OK. I do have the advantage of printing out this email and present it personally to the FFL. But yes, not all FFL are willing to risk losing the license over something that trivial. My FFL is used to it because I essentially have to teach them how to do because all my pistols are target pistols, whether it is C&R or modern. Also, my experience tells me that the cheaper the FFL charges you, the less likely that the FFL will go to the extra mile for you. Yes, there are FFLs that I know do not even know about the laws beyond the regular transfer of a "street" or "home defense" gun such as a Beretta.
