Pardini GT45 recoil spring question

Post by Trooperjake »

what spring weight do you use in your GT45?
Also who do you buy your springs from?
Wolff does not make them for the GT.
My GT is a 6" barrel, with a slide mount and Ultradot 4 dot.
I use both jacketed and lead bullets in mine.

Jake;

I haven't settled on a spring weight. I did buy several different weight springs from Larry's guns. I think they were $8 each. A little spendy, but not completely outrageous. I found that the heaviest weight spring had too many coils, so that my slide would not go far enough back to lock the slide to the rear, so you might want to skip that one.

I, too, have the 6 inch version.

Just contacted Pardini, new prices are $16.00 plus ship.
That's outrageous.
