High Standard Pistolsmith needed

Post by Tanktrek »

Hi
Anyone knows of a High Standard Pistol Smith in the Northeast portion of the USA. I would prefer eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware area.
High Standard Victor broke, needs a rebuild along with magazine fitting.

May I suggest contacting Bob Shea in Conneticut? He's pretty good in fixing the older HS pistols. I've also heard the Texas HS factory does repair work too. You may want to give them a call about repair work.

Try David Sams of Sams Custom Gunworks, LLC. He did some work on

my Victor a while ago. I know that he does build/repair Bullseye guns. If

his work load is heavy, he may know of another person to refer you to. I

have heard bad things about the High Standard factory now located in

Texas. Just curious, I also have a Victor. Specifically, what broke on

yours?

Try a Volquartsen extractor replacement. You can do it yourself.

Lots of good HS info here

I suggest you replace the recoil spring.
