Distinguished revolver options

So, I bought a model 14 S&W with the intent of using it in our local police pistol league, and to also begin the journey toward Distinguished Revolver. Finally found a load that the gun seems to like. However, no matter what load I shoot, with the elevation adjustment bottomed out, and a center hold, it shoots high. The rear sight won't go any lower. The front sight is fixed and pinned to the barrel. The way I understand the DR rules, only factory sights are permitted. Any ideas on how to get some additional negative elevation range in my sights? If the best advice you can provide is "aim lower", please don't bother.

A PINNED FRONT SIGHT CAN BE CHANGED WITH ANOTHER HEIGHT(TALLER TO BRING GROUP DOWN) FRONT SIGHT. OR YOU MAY BE ABLE TO INSTALL A LOWER REAR SIGHT BLADE. IF YOU USE S&W FACTORY PARTS YOU ARE GOOD TO GO. JP
