Pulling shots to the right

Hi there folks,

I shoot standing at 22yrds sporter class, but I'm currently shooting .177 (wrong caliber).
Anyway... I set myself up before I shoot, I tend to put my feet perpendicular to the target and push my hip towards the targets so I can rest my elbow on it.
However I can never get lined with the target, my upper body always wants to drift to the right. This is before the trigger has been pulled and I'm always pretty conscious of not hooking the trigger.
The only way I've found to resolve this is to move the target to the right, but is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for any help

Dom

Adjust NPA with your feet. Wider to go higher, narrower to go lower. Rear foot moves opposite the direction you want the shot to move. If the target is to your right, and you are a right handed shooter, pull your rear foot toward the left. That turns your entire position in relationship to the target, while keeping the upper body in the same position from shot to shot.

For minor adjustments left / right you can move the ball of your front foot while keeping the heal in place. For a right handed shooter, forward will move NPA left, back will move NPA right.
I personally find this technique works best when I only need an inch or two adjustment, more than that I move my back foot.
Both methods work, you just have to decide what works best for your situation.

Thanks very much for all the replies i'll try moving my back foot. The targets are pretty high so i do tend to either take my rear foot back or adjust my left hand (slide it up and down the stock) for minor adjustments. I've always shot with my feet parallel.
Thanks for the advice
